 Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope you all have a warm & cozy Thanksgiving filled with family memories while you fill your bellies!

We will be CLOSED all day on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day 2014.

We Will be OPEN Friday and through the rest of the weekend with our normal business hours.

The Mill City Farmers’ Market Begins it’s Outdoor Season Saturday, 5-10-14!

The Market runs from 8am until 1pm, be sure to get there early to get your week’s groceries!

Stop by our “Crepes by Spoonriver” stand and grab a delicious Savory or Sweet crepe for Breakfast or Lunch!

With Spring arriving and Summer just around the corner, we have moved to our “Summer Hours” on weekends.

Saturday AM we open at 8:30 and serve until 2pm.

Our kitchen takes a tiny break between 2-2:30, and our afternoon/bar menu at 2:30 until 5pm when Dinner begins.

It’s that time of year again to get out of the house and become inspired!

Brenda is teaching her 3-part cooking course with the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota.

Healthy Eating, Healthy Living is a three-night class that features recipes, grocery lists, cooking techniques and inspires you to get into your kitchen and cook.

Instructors Brenda Langton and Carolyn Denton will be joined by additional Center for Spirituality & Healing faculty on different nights. They will share stories and insights for making healthy eating and lifestyle changes.

Each three-night series will feature more than 30 recipes to savor. Each night’s menu will include:

  • Quick and creative breakfast options
  • Healthy snacks
  • Assorted vegetables and fruit dishes
  • Easy lunch and dinner entrees using plant based proteins or fish and whole grains
  • Delicious desserts without refined sugar
