Spring Has Sprung here at Spoonriver!

We’re getting excited for the Patio to be fully open- although we’re thankful for the sunny days we’ve been able to sneak in some patio action on so far.  Feel free to call if you are curious about Patio seating & availability.

The Mill City Farmers’ Market begins their OUTDOOR Markets on Saturday, May 6th, 2017! (8am-1pm)

This means VERY SOON we’ll begin our “Summer Hours” on Saturdays and open at 8:30am serving our Brunch menu until 2pm.

Please call the restaurant for inquiries on open times for Saturday for the time being. We will also be sure to update our Facebook Page and Website when we have switched.

Mothers’ Day is just around the corner and we’re filling up quickly.

We had a great time chatting with WCCO’s Jason DeRusha from “DeRusha Eats”  (@DeRushaj @DeRushaEats on Twitter) this week!

Brenda and our Chefs Elizabeth Brockie and Chris Bundy showed him around the kitchen and cooked up some of our favorite winter dishes like our Salmon Okisuki (pictured below) and our Buckwheat-Veggie-Potato Croquettes.

Brenda and Jason covered just about everything from Brenda’s beginnings in the Vegetarian Restaurant “Commonplace” in the 70′s, to Spoonriver eclectic menu featuring MN Grass Fed Steak, Lamb and Fresh Seafood (brought in everyday from Coastal Seafoods) .
